Unique Garden Pavilion Design by Paul Raff Studio
Sunday, April 24th, 2011 by admin # Architecture, Garden Design, Outdoor and GardeningThis design created for the maximum level of the shading in the heat of mid-summer and also worked as a massive Sundial. Similar like in traditional Japan tea house, pavilions designed for the involvement of social and personal contemplation. Elements of a grid-like creates a complex relationship between relationships inside and outside, making a smooth and quick shift out of Park. The combination of interwoven Trellis produces a constant interplay of light and shadow, and connecting Heaven to Earth. To strengthen the connection to the sky, the mirror pairs to the surface of the dinner table. The Pavilion is oriented due North-South, and the roof is aligned perpendicular to the Sun on the summer solstice.
